After making it to the final stage of the BA assessments, I’ve thrown my hat into the ring for TUI as well. For the assessments I got, x2 average and x1 above average which led to an immediate digital interview invite. The digital interview was okay, although I definitely struggled with the limited time in effectively answering the questions. It’s very interesting to see how different the process is already to the BA scheme. I am a lot more nervous about being cut out early from this scheme than the other, just based on the digital interview! Best of luck all, it’s a long wait to March… especially with January being the longest month in existence.

Hi All. Just completed my assessments and got above average for Numerical and Verbal, average for Logical. Those who got to the video interview stage, did you receive an email confirming this or did the option simply appear in your Cadet Hub? Good luck to all those applying!

I'm in the same boat as a BA scheme final-stager, I'm really looking forward to my feedback next week. As for this scheme, it does seem like they're cutting out the bulk of people as early on as possible, and with the time limits on those questions I don't fancy my chances so much!

Interesting. I got 2 Above Avg and one Avg and got the chop.

Either you must get Above Avg on the logical reasoning test, or there are some other criteria being applied in the background.

Either way, congrats on getting through to the video round and fingers crossed for the rest of the process!

I had my feedback earlier this week. It was very specific and helpful for applying again next time, and was delivered by one of the pilots working on the scheme. Best of luck!

I assume we have to go though all the stages again from start to finish in April - did they mention anything about being fast tracked through to a later one? Slightly concerned that this time I will accidentally drop the ball early on and not even make it to final stage...

Did anyone struggle with logical reasoning?

The person providing the feedback said that is the question everyone has asked at the end of the feedback, as I had the same question too. At the moment, they still haven’t decided but was told to assume that we would need to apply from the beginning. If anything changes, it would be communicated through email.

Do I struggle with logical reasoning? No.

Could I pass TUI’s logical reasoning test? Also no.

Digital interview

Hey guys, anyone who’s done the digital interview, if you don’t mind sharing - can you re-record your answers like it used to be or not anymore?

It only lets you re-record the practice question….. for the rest, you can watch them back but no option to re-record

just completed mine , and had no email response, neither an interview option in my profile. looks like we’re in the same boat. Unless you’ve had a response since ?

I completed mine today too, above average in logical reasoning, average in the others. Nothing relieved via email. Perhaps our scores and about me bits need vetting before they decide? Who knows!

Also nice to see other Speedbird final stagers here too, this may be our year...

Interview

If you’re successful I think it shows up instantly in a new box on sova. had a friend that was rejected with 2 above averages and they said if you’re unsuccessful it just asks you what you thought about the process

Yeah in the same boat. No email, still sat with all 3 completed and no other options.

That’s odd as someone above got average in all 3 and got to the next stage - seems like there
is a glitch ! Mine is “in progress” and don’t know if I’ve got through to the interview or not. Maybe try contacting them - good luck.

I got all above average on my assessments and got straight through to the digital interview. Perhaps they are applying a rule set in the back end that says if you get 3* above average you go straight through, 2* above average and an average you require vetting before being passed to the next stage and then if you get below average etc then it automatically rejects you?

I did thought a couple were okay but the rest were very difficult. I had practiced logical reasoning previous to applying and I still struggled to find the patterns.

That is strange, I've just completed the assessments myself and scored above average in all 3 and have received a digital interview invite straight away. Have you found out any answer to this from TUI? Those tests were definitely challenging, I wonder how many they plan to cut based on just those test results.....

Unrelated, I'm also a BA final-stager (what a great xmas present that was haha!). I see there's quite a few of us on this thread, I'm guessing most of us will have applied to TUI whilst waiting for another crack at the Speedbird Academy!
