He is good but is very pushy and tells everyone, nearly without exception, that they need additional hours.

As for upilot, he isnt actually a pilot and the sim isnt actually a sim, its a home build cockpit.

Maybe is to avoid any claims if someone do not pass the assessment?

If a catastrophic failure occurs on a DA42 and the propeller immediately stops, what do you do ? Would you be able to feather?

MASTER SW Off position, drains the oil from the prop hub but only above 1300RPM. Check your AFM to be sure, should be on Chapter 7.9.2.

The AFM doesn’t say anything about catastrophic failure but, it does say you need to consider descent in order to increase the speed and in result the propeller rpm increase to above 1300rpm so you will be to feather, Not sure if this is correct.

Does anyone know if we expect to have different requirements for the Ryanair's 2023 Type Rating Programme and selection process?

Hello,

I checked the requirements to apply for the job as a cadet and it says cadet is for those who have less than 1000 total hours.

I have 1500 hours as a flight instructor without jet/multi crew hours.

Since I have more than 1000h I won’t be able to apply for the job as a cadet?

Why would you want to? Far better prospects out there at the moment that don’t require you to part with significant amounts of money.

I did! It was mentored. Now you need to apply for the job.

Anyway, I applied yesterday as a cadet and received invitation for 4th of August

online assessment is done before the APS MCC. You cannot do Ryanair mentored without passing the online assessment

If you do mentored, you won't do the online assessment again.

Edit: someone was faster

hi all.

anyone knows how to delete an account in the ryanair's career portal?

I was totally loss acces to my email account that I have in there so I think that the only solution is to open a new account, so the say that you MUST NOT open a second account so I will delete the old one to have only one, is that possible?

Or in other case, do you know if they really discard you if you have 2 acounts?

Thanks a lot people.

if you open another account on the sim name the moment you click “submit” when apply they website will automatically banned you and your application will be rejected.

regarding, deleting the account, I would contact Ryanair before doing it. Even if you delete the account your name remain in their list. The best option for you is to ask them if they can update the email address on existing account .

I hope they don't bann you by name because my name and surnames are like the most common in my country.

So do you know how can I contact them for asking to change the email? I did't found any way to do it.

Thanks!!
