I had also problems with my smear...first,they found some LSIL (undifined cells) and I just told emirates I want to sign the waiver where I quit for the medical assurance on the smear problem and I circled ''not indicated'' on the smear. Because I was afraid they would have an issue with my result. The thing was, after this, I made another test because I was so scared, and it turned out to be very good, and the first was just a medical (chemist, whatever) error.
I am sure they dont have a problem with your inflamation but, they might make you sign the waiver..you should just circle ''not indicated''... good luck on your medicals

6 Month Rule
Hey
I've just finished reading through all the threads and I have come across a contradiction regarding when the 6 month rule applies. According to people writing in May, if you dropped off a cv, the 6 month rule starts. People writing in September have said that the 6 month rule only applies if you went through a group interview stage.
The EK web page states :
Candidates who fail to make it through the initial screening process may reapply after six months; those who are not successful after the interview may reapply after one year.
This sounds to me like once you've dropped off your cv, you have to wait 6 months. Does anyone have a solid answer for this?
Also, I found a really useful interview tool in the last thread. Use a torrent site (like isohunt) to download How 2 become Cabin Crew. Really basic, simple to understand

hey
I still believe emirates requires one to apply online for any position including cabin crew. I had a cabin crew friend ask someone at the career section and confirmed you must apply online, everyone Im afraid. I think youll still be required to follow your status online if say you are shortlisted for this position, or your status changes/
I think this time is also okay to attend the open day since it states or bring a passport for identification; meaning excluding arabic speakers, and doesnt say anywhere on the website that it is for arabic speakers only like before !! so i hope to see you there at the open day on the 8th October.....

Online Status
Hey guys,
This morning my status changed from ''Under Review'' to ''Approval in Progress''.
Just figured I'd ask you guys if you knew what this meant? I figure this means it could go either way. But does anyone know if people recieve this message before being rejected? or does another message show up?

Hello
Hey, everybody.
I'm finally done with everything, finished with all my medicals, and they got approved in like two days.
So happy I can not even describe it.
My date of joining is October 24 th. Is there ANYONE with the same DOJ?
So we just have to wait till the week or less before the DOJ to find out about what fleet we got?????
It doesn't really bother me that much, but anyway I would like to know.
Congratulations to all of you who made it, and got your golden calls.
