Hello everybody!
First of all let me tell you all how amazingly helpful and encouraging you are! Thank you!
Is there anybody from Egypt/Cairo? Was the AD on the 24th of June cancelled or was it still on? I applied, but did not get the invitation. I am just wondering if it is because it was cancelled or they simply did not invite me.
Anyway there will be the next one on the 30th of July.
I was interviewed by EK last year in February in Alexandria. Was eliminated after the first group discussion. Was accpeted in Etihad later though, joined the training, but had to leave after 5 days due to some family circumstances
I really hope to make it this time in Cairo. If anybody esle is going or if anybody has the info about the 24 June AD share!

No need to worry because some get that message even 3 months after FI and some get 1 week after. You just have to wait.. If it changed to Approval in Progress, that's a good sign.

On a side note, last weekend were the OD and AD here in Argentina, one guy from another forum made it to de FI and I'm guessing he'll make it all the way.
There are some other ADs that will be held in August in Buenos Aires, it's a shame I won't be able to attend either but EK will come back a few more times along the 2nd half of the year for sure!

Hi, havnt read the whole post, but I would like to know, I am currently still 20, 21 at ends of october. Can I apply for Cabin crew at emirates? would I have to wait to be 21? What airline recruits at still 20? Thanks for the answers

Hey guys. My account is "the recruiter will contact you..." since monday, however I havent got any calls so far. Do you know averagely how many days after the status change they give the call? Thank youu.

well... I attented the AD and passed until the FI.
But now my status is application under review... I think I will get the "rejection email"... am I right?

Applied - Application Under Review
Hi there guys! I am new here as a member, but I have been reading all the info since May. I had my final interview on May 30th, but when you fill in the application, they ask how much time do you need after your GD, and when you'll be ready to go. I said that I would be ready in August,and that I needed 30 days to get ready after my GC. Many people that had the FI with me, got their GC already. Their status changed from APPLIED to APPROVAL IN PROGRESS, and yesterday, mine changed from APPLIED to APPLICATION UNDER REVIEW. Is it a bad sign? I am getting really nervous, because there were 12 people for the FI, and 7 of them got their GC already... Thanks a lot!
