Hi guys/gals - just wanted to ask if there were any ex ek rejoiners that were successful?
Have been invited to an OD - stoked!
Seems as though they are hiring quite quickly and wanting to get ab-initio's trained asap! Friend of mine was invited a week earlier then her previous DOJ!

IQ TEST
Hey guys! I need your help. Ive just come from my final interview, and I felt it was good, all recruiters were friendly and helped me to fill out the form, and collecting the necessary documents. The reason why im writing is they did not asked me to complete the IQ test, which makes me worry, that I wasnt good enough. Do you know anybody, who had golden call without filling the IQ test? Thank you for your time)

As we already wrote for like million times...IQ test is random and there is no connection between getting an IQ test and receiving a golden call....from those who got their GC already some got to do it, some didn't...so it's NO SIGN at all and don't worry...if they liked you ...you're in!

Hello everybody
I can not believe it, I got an email saying that I have been chosen to join A380 fleet. First I was so excited
but now I'm freaking out. 
Is there anybody else who got 380 as well???
My DOJ is Oct. 24th, does that mean that all of us who join on 24th are gonna be A380 people?

Question: I was never asked to apply online before my FI. Is there any way I can track my status in case I sign up on the Emirates Careers website?
It's been over 3 weeks now and I can't barely sleep. How am I supposed to know what's going on with my application?
Any insight is appreciated.

At least you will go home often! They have many batches that join on the same day so there will be most likely a main fleet batch as well. The people who went earlier from here, only one got the A380 email and the others didn't.
Now I just wait for this email or not
I was told at my interview that everyone was main fleet...that I believed true, until one of the girls got the email!
Lucas: I don't think you can track it any other way sorry. You also won't be able to sleep after you get the call 
so think of it as preparation!

Hi all!
This morning I received the FA, even though I have not yet uploaded half of the medicals, because I am still waiting for the results. It seems that with the new medicals everything is going much much faster!
Here is how things happened for me:
27.8. OD
28.8. AD
30.8. FI (I had to take the logic test and re-do the psychometric one)
13.9. Approval in progress
21.9. Grooming email
27.9. You will be contacted
1.10. GC
12.12 DOJ
I have to say the time between the "You will be contacted" and the actual GC was the hardest! I thought they usually call you a day or two after the red alert, but apparently it can take longer, so don't stress too much
Anyone else joining them on 12 December?

Yasmina: You will need casual photos if you reach the stage of FI! Before that all you need is passport size and whole body in bussines attire. For the casual photos you can take time and look up some nice photos because they do count a lot (see some of my older posts about how they must look)!

Thanks a lot melmel, then I guess it just like that, they pick up people from the bucket and somebody is a main fleet while somebody gets A380.

I just had my resume and a passport size photograph for the OD. And for the AS they did not ask for anything else. Then, for the FI they will tell you all you need to know. It's two casual photos, i think 6 passport size, and bunch of other papers. Good luck.

Cant upload Medicals!!
Hi all
I am hoping you are able to help me.
I have just completed my medical's yet I am unable to upload them.
I managed to upload my declaration and appendix 2, and now there is no button for me to upload. If anyone can help in this matter it shall be greatly appreciated
As well I have completed my Dental and I have a 3 teeth with small cavities that are going to be filled, is this a big problem or will it be fine??

Hey guys, my status is still "approval in progress" for the past 12 days now and right now is the 4th week since my FI .
Anyways, everyone seems to be talking about medicals after GC. Does this mean that after getting GC, we're still "not really" hired by Emirates because we still have to pass the medicals? Is that so?
If so, I'm kinda worried bout passing the eye exam?

Hey Guys
I have got everything done on terms of paperwork etc...
But i had to have 3 fillings as the person above also it is true that as long as they are done correctly this should be of no issue, it also turns out i am missing my both lower 3rd molars which is a common issue (from birth) could 1 of you lovly bloggers give me a piece of mind!!
Has anyone had issues on the candidate portal opening answers to questions sent to HR ?? I was given the tick of completion for my medical but i am yet to upload medical and appendix 3 and wonder if this is a problem on there end as i am due to fly on the 14th Nov and want this all put to bed so i can sleep

Casual photos
Hello everybody. Let me ask one more question. All my documents were all right, except the casual photos were missing. It is written that i need two of them. My question is 2 different one, or 2 x one which are the same( of course in this case it would mean one, because im going to send it online and not print them out)

Hey I have the same problem as you...I am also unable to upload my medicals as it's showing completed. I think it may be a problem on their side, as I sent a question to them asking about this and I am unable to open my response. I am thinking of phoning tomorrow, as I would like to get it all done ASAP.

I can' believe how fast the whole process went! I really expected it to happen much slower. Anyone else have a DOJ of Nov 21st?

That is great newyorker212 I was at the NYC OD as well my FI was on the 26th though. I received the grooming email this morning at 4am and I've already completed and returned it...fingers crossed at this point
