JQ CNS Base
Hi Nextstep
I too applied for DRW and yep nothing at all . Rude or what ?
Well I have went for the interview in CNS got right through now awaiting for a yes or no as promist by JQ , But alass still nothing . 2 weeks latter yep still waiting. Sorry if i want to get my life sorted but hey !!!
Like all airlines they want you to jump through fire hoops naked and expect you will not burn anything. They really dont seem to care that a person who takes days of work to go for an interview , dream job. Not to meantion the cost of flights to get there and back !!!!!. What do they think you take it with a grain of salt . Come on now JQ get it sorted how hard can it be. You proceive yourself to many , many , many others who and what your about . Dont you see the long term damage your causing yourself's ?? If you think im a little scalled then yes to say the least .
Write to me soon this could be fun ....

JQ Darwin and Cairns
Hi Beachbum66!!
I am gald to hear from someone who attedned the interview in CNS on 30th Sep...I was also there too!! got through to the final interview.
We definitly met at the Sebel.
I am aslo waiting for a reply from them...This is really sicky moment...
Everyday I think about it...
I actually exchanged my contact number with one of the guys and he got the reply about medical and ASIC from them following day.
When I heard of it, i was quite shocked...but we still havent heard from them...What's going on.
Do you know anyone has got an unsuccessful message from Jetsar?

congrats for making it to the stage you have, but get comfortable with the waiting!!
I was doing a QJ ground school 18 months back (MEL base) but had to leave due to heaps of things that didn't come together at the time (accommodation, selling my business, family matters etc) all of which are now sorted and good. And now am trying like crazy to get back in.
Have applied QJ BNE and am on hold with V Aust. but believe me - you can wait anything up to a couple on months or more for a yes or no.
It does sound encouraging though that QJ are actively recruiting again - hope it picks up further south too.

I am still waiting for the reply from JQ wether I passed the final.
It has been 2 weeks as they said within 1 or 2 weeks at the interview...
However some people mention about the training...so I assume that JQ doesn't care about people who didnt pass the final...

I am thinking about sending a message to JQ and ask what's going on my application. I am just worried whether it is the right thing to do or not because I havn't been told their contact details offically.
In previous email from JQ contains one of the HRs private work contact details. Just concern that might be against privacy...

has anybody actually had a answer after interviews at sebal cairns on sept 30th and final on 1st oct.... i havent heard a thing does anyone actually have any info, or has anybody actually heard back from them at all....

i wish they would at least give us an idea if we are still in the running i can so relate to the life on hold, i flew from perth for the interviews and im starting to turn down other offers, because im still waiting for any news. i wonder if we were unsucesssfull wouldnt they have at least sent an email saying that ?

is it standard for them to at least let people know if they have not been successfull, seems weird if they dont even email anything, but it has now been more than 2 weeks.

I think it might have another name in New Zealand, all that I can find are ones in Aussie.
I'm thinking my local council might do them, which happens to be the same council that issues the Liquor Licenses to JQNZ aircarft.
Do they mean a bar Manager License?
