OK. There's a problem in that my atlas and Google earth have very different opinions on where there are airports in that part of the world.

Are we in Sarawak? If so, Bandar Udara Pangsuma looks to be about 110 miles from Kuching and is on fairly flat ground.

That is in Indonesia and we are in Malaysia.

Some refer to it as Sarawak.

Google Earth is quite accurate in distance measurement as it measures great circle values.

This airfield was originally built by the Japanese in WW2. There is now a modern airport close to there.
