Posting imgur images

I've been posting imgur images for a while and I'm very happy with the site. Uploading images is quick and easy, but the method for posting an image link is not intuitive, so for grizzled and anyone else who is interested, here's what to do:

1. Click on the green triangle next to your name at the top right and select Images:

https://i.imgur.com/kqaeACZ.png

2. Click on the image that you wish to post:

https://i.imgur.com/NIsEvCE.png

3. Click on the Copy button next to the link that is labelled "BBCode (message boards & forums)":

https://i.imgur.com/2RVkbHR.png

4. Paste the result of that Copy DIRECTLY into your reply. :ok:

DO NOT use the PPRuNe "Insert Link" or "Insert Image" icons.

Be aware that everyone can see your album.
Good advice from dook. Applies to most image sites. Only aeroplane porn in my album! ;)

First, obvious question.

Japan? Atsugi?

Cows getting bigger 12th Apr 2018 06:39

Obvious answer, no. :)

Try moving West.

India Four Two 12th Apr 2018 06:53

Well, it was worth a try! ;)

Skyline has a Mediterranean feel to it?

sidtheesexist 12th Apr 2018 15:51

Iwol - Dong airbase, S Korea?

Cows getting bigger 12th Apr 2018 20:54

Keep going West, but not as far as the Med.

The haze looks like a better than average day in India. New Delhi?

Cows getting bigger 14th Apr 2018 05:46

Far too nice for Delhi. Were on the North (new) side of the airport looking west. I have to say, I was a bit surprised to see the Japanese here. There's far more of a British influence.

Heathrow Harry 14th Apr 2018 06:52

Not many places still qualify for THAT description

Middle East then.. Oman?

Salahah?

Farrell 14th Apr 2018 09:34

Salalah: The Japanese were there last time I flew out.

Heathrow Harry 14th Apr 2018 09:34

could be the newish parking spot on the near the end of 08L at Seeb but that doesn't appear to have the drains/hatches in the concrete we can see in the picture.................

Heathrow Harry 14th Apr 2018 10:23

when there were only 7 kms of metalled road in the country? and all that was in the PDO Camp

Heathrow Harry 14th Apr 2018 17:38

"they also serve....."

Cows getting bigger 14th Apr 2018 18:59

HH has it. The Japanese have an almost permanent presence there. Much of the old airport has gone now, replaced by a mini-me version of the new terminal at Muscat.

Over to you, HH.

Sheer good luck rather than skill, I'm afraid. Picked a Mediterranean airport served by Ryanair where the runway is parallel to the shore, and Bingo! Luck of the draw.

Open House.
