If it isn't a Lysander it ought to be !
There was one with a dorsal B & P four Browning turret - but I thought it was only ever a mock-up... Anywhere close ?? |
Looks like a Lysander but is not. Wrong tail.
Taking that back http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/...26um193155.png |
diesel addict is correct:ok: The Westland Lysander. Your turn.
|
Thank you, evansb
I admired your post of the actual document. Were not some of those wartime recco books dreadful ! Open House please gentlemen..... |
Let's try this then. We have not had it, but as far as I can remember it has been proposed a couple of times as a solution, so should not be too difficult

Evening Reg....first chance to look for a while.
A familiar planform but can't immediately think what it is...are we looking at a high wing, tricycle undercarriage, swept tail? |
Having just proposed its high wing, I'm thinking it could be the Evektor EuroStar (or SportStar). Can't find a 3-view but the wings/tail look right and some models don't have wheel spats. Not very confident so will keep looking for a while!
|
Funny. This is the way it went the previous times, too.
Tricycle, swept tail, but low wing and not Evektor, as far as I understand, and as far as the type certificate calls it. |
Thanks Reg...so low wing?
|
Yes, low wing.
|
Something from Storm? The Storm 400?
|
Not Storm. Being generous and pretty ready for bed: Go back to one response of yours above and see what I did not refute…...
|
Reg, calling it a day now. From your comment I guess there is a connection with the EuroStar (or SportStar to those in the US), but not sure what! Only other machine that I have found that seems to look about right is the Aero AT-3 or AT-4.
Anyway good night - no doubt Graeme or Bri will sort it out overnight, unless of course Trevor swoops in :) |
Eurostar was it. Just fix the rest.
