Could one assemble this with a cordless drill and pop-riveter - ie, Kitplane?

Not that I can see.
Bugger!

I suppose in theory yes, but no, it was/is not offered as a kit plane - as far as I can gather just the one built. There is a connection between this and the previous challenge!!

Nieuport MMXI...?

You mean they're both French?...possibly?...maybe?

skytrain10 23rd Sep 2011 12:49

Nieuport MMXI...?
Not that sort of connection, although I like the sound of it. And no, not a French machine.

Noyade 23rd Sep 2011 12:51

OK.
Well mate, it's 2300 hrs here and it's been a long day so I'll stop harassing you (are you at work?) and head to bed. Gotta get up early and solve Mel's jet-pipe and this challenge, unless the swooper strikes both threads! :)

Cheers.

Going offline until late this evening. Will check-in before I hit the hay.

Hi skwinty, sorry couldn't reply sooner.

You're looking at the wrong challenge - that one's been done! Current challenge is my Post 2733.

Cheers Ken

skwinty 24th Sep 2011 08:30

Thanks Ken, I missed a few posts.

How about a LH-10 Ellipse?

skytrain10 24th Sep 2011 09:04

Not the LH-10 skwinty.

The aircraft is from the US.

skytrain10 24th Sep 2011 18:01

As its very quiet, another clue, it was designed as a racer, hence its association to the previous challenge.

skytrain10 25th Sep 2011 07:29

Have decided to withdraw the challenge as either nobody around or it's just too difficult!

OPEN HOUSE

No way would we allow this good thread to slip into oblivion.

Hi Reg, good to see you back. Hope you had a good break?
Is your heading away from the viewer?
A LSA or homebuild?

RegDep 25th Sep 2011 16:32

Hi Skytrain,

Yes, had a nice trip.

The challenge is heading towards the viewer, and is not homebuilt.

skytrain10 25th Sep 2011 22:37

Reg, sorry not had much chance to look at this. Is it the Lambert M212 Mission?

RegDep 26th Sep 2011 06:16

Good morning Skytrain. No, not Lambert. Clue: 2010s.

skytrain10 26th Sep 2011 08:21

Morning Reg...European, maybe Czech design? Would this be from an established manufacturer?

Noyade 26th Sep 2011 08:39

Morning.

The starboard wing-tip looks like it's grown a crab-like claw?

skytrain10 26th Sep 2011 08:46

Evening Graeme....yes been looking at the "claw", can't find anything that matches:ugh:
