Ah ah...I have a Cub look-a-like lined up for a future challenge! Are we looking at a modern day machine...European design?
|
Modern day.. not European ....
;) |
Is the aircraft in "standard" config? I say that as the exhaust location is quite distinctive and was just wondering if that's how it was/is built or is it an "add-on"? Don't want to waste my time looking at Neiva's, Aero Boero etc!:)
|
Original, Ken.
time looking at Neiva's, Aero Boero etc RR |
Ok thanks, so if not European, then logically from the US? Or perhaps South America?
|
Not american, Ken!
Edit: I'm out for a Xmas do tonight so won't get on SC.. would you like clues or can it wait until tomorrow if its not solved by 1730? |
Give us another clue before going! I'm busy this evening too so won't have much opportunity to look in. If you're ok if I (or someone else) identifies it and its supported by someone else, are you happy for us to move on?
Not European or American...that limits things a litte...Russian? Is it in production now, or a kit plane? |

One produced so far, I think. |
SAFAT 01 from Sudan I believe.

ah ha.... that's the one mate!!!!! You have control!
|
I must go, mate!! Night, night...... RR
|
Thanks Martin. In fact we've had the SAFAT 01 before...I thought it sounded familiar!
Next one....European origin http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/i...r/0d485874.jpg |

Morning Graeme...yes French...1950's.

Are you sure that it is not the Max Plan PF.204?

Max Plan PF.204 |
Max Plan PF.204 |
I was wondering whether the different nose would puzzle you....yes of course it is the PF-204....in a different form! :)
Your control Karl:ok: |
Then again, the tailheel looks a little suspect...:)
I think Noyade new what it was, so if credit is due, it should be his. Edit... or open house. Cheers Ken |
