Sorry aviate1138, not a Gotha nor a Blohm & Voss aircraft. This aircraft first flew 1927.

Good afternoon Mel,
I had the Arado V I on my list of suspects last evening whilst whiling away time monitoring my SC challenge, however, I couldn't find any cockpit views and thought that Brian had prbably got it, so I stopped looking. It does seem to fit the year as well as other characteristics! Open House please if correct as I don't have anything prepared. |
TC you have it. It is indeed the cockpit of the Arado V1. First flight in 1927, It took part in exhibition in The ILA-Berlin 1928. Delivered to Lufthansa to in the Autumn of 1929. During the return flight from Tenerife it crashed outside Berlin on the 19th of December 1929. Lufthansa lost interest in the aircraft and the second prototype (V.1a c / n 55) was scrapped without being completed.

As I said Open House over a day ago and there's been no takers. I've had a chance to sort one out, so try this one, should be fairly easy!

hello, I'd bend towards one the small ekranoplans (see specific artificial horizon)...

Hello seb16trs and welcome!
You're bending it the right direction, but I need the name! :) Please can you reduce the size of your image to approx 800 x 600 pixels as one that large upsets the page layout! (MAX is 850 square) Thanks! |
hello, thanks for your kind welcome. My picture is from the Lun "Loon" Ekranoplan. About yours, I must dig again in my docs! ;)
|
Hi seb16trs (possibly seb for short),
Thanks for resizing the image, that's much better! As you realise, it's not the Lun (Hen Harrier), but you're well on the way (nice Hi-Res Pics in your docs :ok:. If you do get it, as I suspect you will; it's plain to see that you are well capable of uploading an image to the thread, but if you don't wish to put up your own challenge if you win, and then monitor any responses, please request an Open House when you submit your answer, but really we'd rather have a challenge! P.S. Be aware that now you've given such a good pointer, someone else may beat you to naming the Challenge craft, so don't delay :) Good luck and Good Night Edited again to say sorry mate I did warn you, better luck next time! Is it an A-90?

Beech King Air C90?

Near enough, it's a 200.
Dash7fan has control! |
