A Fairchild perhaps?
Yes, it is from Fairchild.
Fairchild 41 or 42?
Sorry, Mel, not the 41 or 42. Take note of the dual throttles on the overhead (eyebrow) panel.
45-80? OH if correct
Thanks Bri. Then it must be the Fairchild 45-80 Sekani Floatplane.

Go on, Mel, post one as I have to go soon! :)
Martin :) |
Thanks Martin, Why did I call you Ken  I will await Bri's confirmation.
Yes, the Fairchild 45-80 Sekani. As requested, it is OPEN HOUSE

The way those windows come together at the nose, and the fact that there doesn't seem to be much nose ahead of the cockpit, I would hazard a guess at something like a DH Dragon Rapide?
But then, I know nothing of these sorts of aircraft, lol! I am at home in the cockpit of a DC-3/Dakota but anything other than that, in this 'era', is out of my league. :ok: |
Welcome to the thread MrBernoulli. Sorry this one is not the DH Dragon Rapide. This aircraft only had one engine.
Mel |
Douglas O-38 ?
That is the one Bri. The Douglas O-38F :ok:
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c67/sabamel/9426.jpg You have control. |
A re-entry vehicle mock-up/prototype, maybe the Boeing X-20 Dyna Soar ??
I wonder if this will ever be on AQ :)!! |
TC is correct:ok: The Boeing X-20 Dyna-Soar. Your turn.
Looks pristine, 50's prototype/new build?
Nicely summed up Kitbag :ok:
