Which Aerodrome Mk IV
are we even in Australia?
Well I was rather hoping we were looking at Harry Houdini. (His name nearly escaped me). However if not I would suggest Denmark or Sweden......... All rather exhausting!
Yes Teus It is Monsdorf les Bains in Luxembourg.
Location of the first Airshow in Luxembourg.

... the Kentish horse (or horse of Kent) ...
Yes Chaps the Flag is interesting but I've not been able to find out anything about it despite searching the net which I suppose is a good thing. Perhaps with luck we will be enlightened in due course by a Vexillologist. No it's not an Antibiotic. In the meantime I believe that band is from The Royal Air Force. Sorry neither Rochester or Ratcliffe.
Could be the 1937 Kings Cup Air Race at Hadfield
the guy in uniform is saluting the flag (which looks a bit weird to me) so presumably not an advert for some local car dealers

Elgy in a country churchyard. A poignant Memorial to a last flight from the aerodrome a few Miles away.

Sorry - not Woodley - I'm pleased that you picked up on the Miles clue. You should be able to determine the type which might help, incidentally it is listed, made of Marble and as you can see has suffered from the passage of time since 1938.
Shoreham? Miles operated from there for a while post war
Sorry chaps we will stick with the marble Miles ---- ------- for the time being. The young pilot had an affectionate nick-name which I included in my caption. You can also see the last few letters of his surname which was quite short. All very time consuming I know.............
