Which Aerodrome Mk IV
It seems nobody is interested to explore further.
It is Rabah bitat formerly Bone airfield during WW2.
It is not listed in the Wikipedia list of Aigle Azur destinations

Yes - variously Annaba, Rabah Bitat, Les Salines Airport, El Mellah and Bone
The photo was definitely Aigle Azur bear - not sure about the date or if it was flying a regular service or a charter
Over to you.

Apologies,
I prepared a challenge but did not hit the post button apparently:
Asturias thanks!
I do not think Wikipedia can be completely thrusted on destination lists of ceased airlines.
Annaba is stated on the various route maps of Aigle Azur. So no problem there.
Now this:
As a child I thought these kind of place names were made up same way as Never-never land or the island of Pipi Longstocking.

No worries, SLB, not pressing 'send' is a favourite trick of mine as well
I used to always think of 'Pondicherry' as a particularly exotic name, and it's in India which is where I think your challenge might be. I don't even know if the town or city of Pondicherry has an airfield, but I'm going to have a stab at it anyway...

It's ZNZ - the old Zanzibar airport terminal... a mate of mine is involved with a Charity there and sent me a picture pre Covid "out of interest"
According to my mate, who is from there, the whole place sort of slept for about 30 years and only joined the rest of the world about 10 years ago really. He's been involved with setting up schools, old people's homes etc etc through a Dubai charity
Here's one from a place that doesn't often feature here

Sorry about the picture - most of the ones seems to be poor - like the history - it's been around since about 1944 but finding any detail or old pics has been tough

get the aeroplane and you'll get the country - not 100% sure that this picture was taken at the airport in the challenge of elsewhere in country on reflection
