OK I found some nice future challenges on the way. But this one I found already more than a year ago.

I don’t fly very much these days.
Although 1 offshore trip coming up.
Plush not really, more a grand foulard if they know that in America. Perhaps a plaid or corduroy??

I have a photo that crosses both boundaries, particularly with the Custer CCW-2 being shown above (Russian translation = Strana ? Date?).

Where should I post, my learned friends?

Russ

ps Whatever happened to Dook?

Not a Fairchild.
Welcome back Russell!
You can share your challenge at the first open house. If it is Related to the Custer you can share here directly. We are not that difficult about thread drift, but please state clearly “Not a challenge”

Dook had too much time on his hands and has been answering almost every challenge. The Mods were of the opinion that all Ppruners in all time zones should be allowed a fair chance so they applied some speedbrake rules.
These were repeatedly not followed by Dook so he got zipped back to zero post count (then the Mods have to approve your posts one by one)
Dook got enough of that and left.

see the permanent wiki post above the Which Aerodrome thread for the rules applied.

Bejasus!

A "Funk"? No kidding? Backshop chicken-tech?

What chance do we mere mortals have? he he!

I'll have to dig out pics of the glove box of the legendary Phutney-Creech Air-yacht...

...joking...I wonder how long this thread, or the What Aeroplane thread can last as we seem to have done virtually every blimmen flying thing that ever existed?

As entertainment value these threads are without doubt the best.

"ps Whatever happened to Dook?" As Bear said - he seemed to get worse and worse - answering all challenges often within minutes of them being posted - obsessional - whereas of course this is just a passing interest to the rest of us . He had fair warning - then a yellow card - but he just ploughed on regardless.

Pit y really as he came up with some good challenges

The Funk? And they built over 300??? My god......... and in Coffeyville Kansas - now that IS a quiet spot. The Bank still has the bullet marks of the last great shoot-out of the old West -when the Dalton Gang raided the town in 1892 - it ended very very badly for them....... see The Cimarron Kid (1952)
