Not Caspian. Not Seletar. Not NAS Rockaway.

Yes to the airship hangar and yes the US Navy was a player there.

I'm afraid google earth searchers may have difficulties as well as the area changed significantly over time.

I saw a blimp hangar at Elizabeth City USCG Station maybe 20 years ago. It isn't in the current Google Earth picture. Was that a former US Navy Station?

So, I nominate Elizabeth City, NC.
