oldandbald, you might like to have a look at this thread for tips re posting images.

As open-house has been declared I'll slip in this one of one of the most distinctive airport buildings around, suspect it wont last long!!

Architecture (particularly the church) has a distinctly Venetian flavour; Venice Lido. You cropped it so as not to show Santa Elena church.

The church tower gives it away; it's very similar to the one at St Marks in the city; the Lido (not to be confused with Marco polo airport to the west) is on a spit of land dividing the lagoon from the Adriatic.
