Yes, it is St Vincent. I searched your list for "Vincent" and for "Joshua" and didn't find a match .... oh well. I'll try to do better next time.
And I, myself, posted this same image earlier.

Not wishing to work ones way through all the EFTS fields and now picking up the railway cutting with steam plumes behind, i ll hazard one more - 13 EFTS White Waltham ? This would also fit with what looks like G-ADIB on one of the Tigers. ....Doug

You got there Doug . It is indeed White Waltham the photograph was taken in January 1936. The aircraft belong to the de Havilland School of Flying Tigers.

Thanks Mal. That was a nice one with the process starting with architecture and then going on to aeroplanes and finally topography......here is one perhaps a little different. Should be Ok in thread rules as Silhouette Challenge regularly features the unbuilt and unflown. Looking for EITHER any identification of the context of this proposal which was NOT for a specific city OR an actual city for which a version of this proposed...........................Doug
I believe it was a proposal for London by an H Altvater, his 'visionary scheme', nicknamed the 'rooftop Croyden' Or to be more precise his proposal was considered for Croyden in 1931, the initial proposal was not for a specific City but aimed at the USA

Bingofuel has it . The context being a proposal by H Altvater for the Lehigh Cement Company of Pennsylvania sponsored ( I wonder why!) modern airport design competition of 1927-29 and the subsequent proposal for something similar for London. As Mel says it was to be at Kings Cross on a 126 acre site - sometimes called the new Croydon. The original was not city-specific but as OBP says, a future city based on a New York ,

A picture taken just prior to a flight from here, probably in 1912. The officer in the foreground looking to the left set an aviation record the following year which can never be beaten. It is reasonable to conclude that did not intend to do so.
