Would I be right in saying this image dates from about 1965 - the number of 'Reds' leads me to think it was in their first season and therefore somewhere in Europe.

But then I could be completely wrong........

As you say
I could be completely wrong...
. The photograph was taken circa 1987 and many miles from Europe.

Davidsoffice has it. It is indeed Brunei International Airport. The aircraft and hangars belonged to the Sultan of Brunei's Royal Flight. Here is another photograph including the Red Arrow's aircraft.

You have control.

Thanks for control...It were the 727s that got me thinking then realised the hangar colours matched Brunei Airlines

Unfortunately I have nothing to post at present so Open House!

It is "our little airport in the country" LGW looking north from the north finger towards "appy orley" I would reckon around 1964 as we handled Pac Western along with Wardair, Nordair & World Wide. And the Cameron Iron Works (Canadian) Beech 18.

RAF Waddington?

Will be away for a week, and unable to access computer: open house if I've cracked it.
