Looks suspiciously similar to a vertical I once saw in an article about the atom bomb; Wendover, Utah?

Look like "section roads" to me. That would probably mean east of the Rockies. It would also mean in the flat regions / plains starting in western Ohio. But that doesn't narrow it down very much.

it is NAS El Centro.
the green fields are a bit of a distraction as it is in
southern california.
