Thanks for starting the ball rolling Evansb. Not Crawford so time for some clues.
The photo was taken in the mid 1980s whilst downwind left for 01.
The photo below may also provide some clues. The farmhouse behind the Cherokee is still there and shows up well on google earth. The farmhouse would be probably referred to locally as a Quinta
The hangars on the east side housed a crop spraying company.

Med No. Portugal yes, but not Cascais. Site of recent Portugal airshows. The Airfied serves an historic Municipality partly enclosed by medieval walls. Roman Temple, University. A place well worth a visit,
