Silhouette challenge
Evansb, do you have another pic of the Br482,as it appears that engines/props are counter-rotating on each wing;If it is so,is there perhaps an `old retainer`/designer ` still working for Airbus on the A400M,as it`s,or one of it`s claims is that it`s counter-rotating props on each wing are a `First`?
It would be prophetic to tell them to go and check their history,or perhaps a portent of the future for the A400 !!!

And all of these 26 engines working on a single propeller... was this plane to be made of armored steel plates as well? Would not surprise me. After all, Krupp-Germania was a noted shipyard, why not apply the principles of battleship building to aeronautics for a change? Think big...

Drawbarz,
hats off, that was quick. The Long range bomber - Flying wing it is.
Beljajew DB-LK ? Wikipedia
German and czech language only, I´m afraid. The plane was built to the same specs as the later winning Il-4 and found to perform remarkably well, it found some opposition by conservative party circles though. When the German invasion started, the prototype was burnt.
