I did find another referance as I logged off, to a development of the ES-1 (Paragon), called the ES-3/145 Plover ??
But I don't thiks that's the one
I found this 1962 | 0383 | Flight Archive
To be produced by the Wiltshire School of Flying, managing director,
Sqn Ldr J. E. Doran-Webb
Gotta go now, thanks for PM

There is a picture of the ES-1 Tutor in Flight Magazine.
Lycoming engine and very narrow engine profile.
I see TC has just edited his post to reflect just that, but I found a different page/image.

Forget the ES-1 Tutor....found a 3-view and its not that.
There was a mock-up of the Paragon (photo in Flight) but unless it radically changed its not that either.
Maybe it is the Plover, but can't find anything on that
Its funny, I keep looking at the EoN AP4 aircraft....there is some resemblance...

skytrain,
I found the EoN earlier, but dismissed it as it actually flew.
Is it therefore a Thruxton after all?

Nothing like a good challenge...!
I've found reference to the Wiltshire series of aircraft as follows:
ES-1 Tutor, ES-1 Paragon (probably an error?), ES-2 Paragon and the ES-3 Plover
I've seen them referred to as both Wiltshire and Thruxton.
Is it the Jackaroo Paragon?

I have it as the Paragon Aircraft Ltd Paladin, a mock-up of a future 3-4 seat tourer. It never went in to production.
As i read it LM has got the closest by mentioning the name (Paladin) that I was looking for.
LM has control.
(I'll dig out an image tonight)
