Well done John, it is a Pietenpol Air Camper . One of the first homebuilt aircraft, its design dates back to 1928 with plans being published in 1933. Its still available today....does that make it the longest continually available aircraft to buy?

Not a lot of dihedral in the wing. Was it experimental, designed for a specific purpose? Just trying to gain perspective...a midwing design?
Was there just the one built? I hope at least one of those 2 photos is on the web!
