Jet powered variant of the Mitsubishi J4M? If not, was there a pusher prop version of this design?

Bingo HD.

The Mitsubishi J4M-1 Senden (one of the three - one was indeed a pusher prop version).

You have not had one up for a long time (sic).

All yours.

Oooh-er, missus!

Thanks mate, its all these light GA types, they baffle me, lol.

I'll have a pic up soon, I've scrapped the one I was going to post, just trying to find the best way to turn a photo into a silhouette as I type, shouldn't be too long.

That's the thing on the cover the Japanese Secret Projects book? I've been trying to find out what it was called because it was a dead ringer for it!

Hi HD,

Is it a DHC CT-142 Navigation Trainer version of the Dash-8 ? I think there may be a radome shyly hiding in the silhouette!

Late lunch for me and back to work now, so OH if correct please!

No. It was designed as a motor glider from the outset.
