The engine nacelles on the challenge end behind the wing trailing edge, which they don't on the 110.

Yes but my guess was the H model was different! I've since discoved the H wasn't built! This can't be so unusual as it seems to be a captured german machine

The rear end of the canopy looks Arado-ish.

I was thinking Arado too, but I can't make the Ar240 glazing fit the pic, unless its another model I haven't seen.

Just searched Play for the Aeronauts in english, no luck though.

Actually it is...
The aerial, glazing etc all fit! Also follow the line of the top of the fuselage in Mel's photo and that fits too!

Yes, because I realised a moment later that that was the number tag of the jpeg file.

There was no such aeroplane as an Arado 1.

The description given to the photograph states "Maintenance work on the Arado Ar 240 V 6".The Ar 240 V6 became the preproduction Ar 240A-02.
The photograph below is of the Arado Ar 240 V3


So I would say LM has the laurels for this one.

Fair enough, I just knew I'd never heard of an Arado 1 but thought it looked quite like an AR 240. I just got excited cos I finally knew one and thought I was first. I was gutted when I noticed your post had changed. As indeed this one has about three times already lol.

Seafang?????? Actually as you can see the wing tank/radome I'm guesing its a Firefly IV???
