Bl00dy Hell, you lot are like a flock of seagulls outside a fish and chip shop!

Three gone past since my last visit :-) But it's fascinating - the Russian delta particularly.

Fighting Fit and back at work now, by the way. Thanks RR

Maybe one day, I'll get in there first. But don't hold your breath...

I don't think this one's been up before...

Thanks. The BW swing wing Swallow would have been one fantastic aircraft. Here is the next silhouette:

G'day! Spot on mate Based on the American Jet Industries turboprop, the Gulfstream Peregrine shared the name of the military jet trainer by the same company. You have control.

The Mach 2.5 Barnes Wallis Swallow ?
I hesitated when I first saw Rat's line drawing as I thought that the Swallow was an airliner project. I've seen photos of Wallis handling a model of the Swallow(?) that shows a circular cockpit with three large panes of glass and I think it could be raised to assist the pilots vision when landing. Concorde took a different approach.

Is Rat's drawing a Bomber version of the Swallow? Thought you may know more.

In the meantime...

Good morning.
My guess would be the Trajan Vuia 1 from 1906.

Btw. The man standing on top of the X is Santos Dumont.

Trajan Vuia 1
Spot on mate! Apologies for the late response, worked a late shift and and then had to pick up my teenagers from the latest SAW (6) movie epic.

Btw.
I'm off to a cup of coffee and some computer messing at a friend. Seems his four year daughter has deleted all their pictures. Shouldn't be a big deal to get them back, but who knows.
Could we say, that if three of you agree, that the right identification has come up, you just go on?

I think it's the Udet Two-Seater "Sporting" Monoplane of 1922 with 35 HP Haacke Engine

If correct "Open House"

Last edited by SincoTC; 24th Oct 2009 at 13:00. Reason: changed typo and added engine

I have become intrigued by who all the regular players on this thread are.

Is anyone interested in sending photographs by PM - I for one will not put my image in the public domain on this site, although some of my students have done it on facebook, whatever that is!
