Time is running out so.....

Italian engineer designed and built, who studied in UK and France. Building rights eventually went to the US via Canada. And the country of origin - the sixth one - was ....... ah, ha nearly got you!!

AFCO RL3 “MONSOON”





STANDARD DATA: Gross wt. 1,500. Empty wt. 870. Fuel capacity 28. Wingspan 25'10". Length 20'3".

PERFORMANCE: Top mph 130. Cruise mph 115. Stall mph 45. Climb rate 800. Takeoff run 500. Landing roll 700. Range 600.
This two-place low-wing taildragger was first built in India by an Italian engineer (R. Levy) who studied in England and France. A Canadian company took it to the United States. The Monsoon is of conventional all-wood construction and covered with fabric. The prototype was powered by a Continental 85-hp engine, and other versions have a 125-hp Lycoming.

You challenge, does it have a V-tail?

And another one, are the flaps extended for a specific reason (special flaps) or just in a normal parking position?
