Well...not on Mel's list....

Described in Aerofiles as a 1964 "re-launch" of a much earlier design. No pics, as yet.
Was it built?
A site says one was built and flown.

Being fair I should say that on other photos I've discovered that the aircraft has stub-wings, which had been removed at the time of this silhouette. RR

Are you saying that what we see on the right is the tail fin and not a winglet?

Remove those temporary fixed wheels and bolt the stub wings back on and you have yourself a WIGE.

I'll also say that it had two props - you can just make out the other (whic I omitted to blacken!)

I also see a special sensor pitot probe, so it might well be experimental.

It was, David. It never flew but was designed and built in anticpation of a research programme that never happened.

The photo from which this is taken does not show that it has two tail-fins, angled outwards, like a Raptor! The u/c was fixed.
