Low powered engines then I presume.

The engines look like radials, so it's unlikely to be French.

I think RR's right on both counts....looks like the Short Scion Senior?
If so give it to RR or OH.

Yes it is a Short, it has Pobjoy engines (Niagara III) and it is the Short Scion Senior, the demonstrator which was the only one not to have floats.

RR are you prepared to to take over, as per skytrains proposal?

Edit: Exactly that RR, flipped .

Another Air Pictorial offering Martin? Are we looking at something that's perhaps newer than it seems?

I can't fathom the perspective!

If it is viewed from above, then where is the upper left wing and the lower right?

No Ken, straight off the web! And no, not newer than it seems.

If it is viewed from above, then where is the upper left wing and the lower right?
It is exactly per the photo, David. Clearly it had/has both!!

RR

Speaking of talking, Tony Blair is here in Oz giving lectures. It's $1,500 a ticket to hear him. Should I get a couple of tickets?
