You sure the inter-wing struts look that way?

Edit: Well, they might if in this angle some are covered by something in the silhouette .

Lunch break.

Very unusual:

1. 3 bladed prop
2. modern looking VHF aerial.

Not so old as it looks possibly?

As skytrain seems to have piped down, my take is that we are nowhere near…..

It's relatively large, given the size of l/g, but not as large as the AN-2 in which turboprops have been installed lately. I get the picture to look like it had been taken from below, which would make the struts more plausible.

Agreed. The wing struts are pretty hefty things, and are consistent in the image on both sides. I reckon its modern too but I've no idea at present.

It must be some kind of experimental, but I have looked everywhere I can think of....except one.......

It might also be an aerobatic job.

I see there is a lot of speculation!

In no particular order:
- checked the silhouette and the wing struts do look like that
- tail elevators also look correct
- relatively modern...yes
- experimental...no
- relatively large...no
- Currie Wot...no
