Ah.. I was right!!! An easy one........ Blast! It was initally intended as a fighter but eventually developed, from the H.220, to a trainer. A few were delivered pre-WW2, to French AF and Finland. The French used them as trainers for their bomber units.
Well done Noyade... you have control. I'm off out back to talk to the girls! RR

Thanks RR.
That sounds better than looking for a new challenge!
I've only got a side profile of this one. It was inspired by the Focke-Wulf Ente and first flew in 1931. The designers were responsible for some of the most famous racing aircraft in the world. It's a canard with a 27 hp engine mounted above the cockpit.

Thanks Noyade. An interesting one to say the least. It was the reference to the designer that lead me to this machine. I then found the video.
Let's see how this one lasts (my apologies for the quality)...one of those with photo's but I struggled to find a 3-view:

Its all gone very quiet, so time for a clue:
The owner of the company that manufactured this aircraft was better known for a series of aircraft bearing his own name. This aircraft is actually a development of one of those aircraft.

Good evening Noyade
A very good try but its not a Kinner product. However this aircraft was developed from the Sportster by Mr Kinner and his engineer, Max Harlow (who of course went on to have his own aircraft company).

Not really. Very similar and another development of the Kinner. But from the picture I have just seen it was a tandem cockpit. I also do not believe Mr Kinner was involved in Timm.

LM...you are close enough. Its the Security S1A Airster, a development of the Kinner Sportster. Security Americans President was Mr Kinner.
Here is the real thing:
There was also an enclosed cockpit version, the S1B.
You have control LM
