OK guys. As in ice-hockey, please take your positions as the referee (me) is going to slam the puck on the ice for you both at the same time:

An uncanny resemblance to the Dewoitine d.513
Answer: There is, isn't there?

I'm thinking French engine, aircraft from elsewhere.
Answer: No, Yes.

Ach: Gets too complex (Doug Adams RIP): No French engine, aircraft not from France, but the aircraft from the same country as the engine.

Lunch now.
Likely... Dewoitine... could it be from Switzerland? More likely than that...
See ya in an hour!

Good afternoon. Coffee break time. Would this be the Hispano HS.50?

If correct will have to be Open House.

Yes, it very well would!

Designed by Emile Dewoitine for Hispano-Suiza while in exile from occupied France in Spain, and developed based on Dewoitine D.520 with indigenous (Sic!) Hispano-Suiza engine.

Open House as requested.

I'll venture to suggest that it is French, Brian?

Guten Tag Reg,

Ulbi Wild Thing ??

The features seem to fit the silhouette quite well, although I haven't got time to find a side view. However, I did find the link below, and it doesn't fit-in too well with your clues, so maybe it isn't!!!

ASN Aircraft accident 07-JUN-2008 Wild Thing MT-01 D-MUMG

Off to work now and anticipate a really hectic day, so I'd better ask for an Open House just in case it is correct!

Edited: just realised why my search wasn't too good

Last edited by SincoTC; 11th May 2011 at 06:26. Reason: Typo, had left out the "L" from the name!!
