Silhouette challenge
An Italian, a Pomme and an Australian are talking about sex.
The Italian says, "When i have finished making love to my girl, she levitates six inches from the bed."
The Pomme says, "That's nothing! After 6 hours of continuous love making to my girl, she levitates 3 feet off the bed!"
The Australian says: "Streuth mate, when I've finished rootin'
me Sheila, I get off the bed, wipe me c##k on the curtains...and
she goes through the roof!!"

How do you look for this in aerofiles? I google '2pOB inurl:aerofiles' and get about quarter of zillion returns to check out. Then only see the year before click open. LM could you check if I even would get this one with the above criteria....
Sorry, but my breath rate is up because of your jokes, and yet not enough to solve this.
Edit: of course you can do the same with aerofiles Search, but still open all returns and run them through....

I don't think you will mate.
It's usually a case of start at the A and work down. You won't have to go too far to find this one.......
Apologies fur geplänkel - you can expect that when Graeme and I are on thread........

Gentlemen, second bottle finished @ 2315 hrs.
Trouble seeing monitor. Please go to where Ken lives, I'm sure he's frozen. British weather is totally unpredictable. David has obviously visited the "curtained" section of his local bookshop many, many times...
Cheers
Graeme.

Have you tried searching Aerofiles for that engine and come up with your challenge mate?? I have and didn't, but then it may be just me! Also tried just Hispano, which collected the Wright-Hispano and added a few more, but didn't spot yours.

OK then, if you go back on the thread a few days, you will note that I posted another aeroplane from the same manufacturers.
The aeroplane is described as "Hisso powered"
Now one of you must get it.

Dayton-Wright Bull Head ?
I was just trying the alternatives and missed your last post!
That's where you have to remember the quirks of the search engines and the differences between that on Aerofiles and Flight archive! Can be useful or obstructive.
This one doesn't have a category code either, crafty bugger!

Yes, it is!
Open House as requested!
Re: Bull Head
This is what the photo description says in the Wright State University Library:
"The photographic print shows the Dayton-Wright Bull Head Biplane at the Dayton-Wright Airplane Company. The airplane seated two and had an eight cylinder engine. The aircraft resembles the Standard J1 in some aspects of the design. A large number two is painted on the tail. In the background hangars are visible with building materials and horse drawn wagons."
And..... I had seen this picture when looking at D-W Aerofile page after the Bug thing....
And.... had dismissed Standard J-1 today - it came up in search of Hispano Suiza engine and looked pretty close save the tail....
