Sorry evansb, the PPRuNe database has been unstable on me the whole day and I was not able to make it keep open long enough without "Database error" to respond properly to you.

The challenge is not Mojarovskii-Venevidov BCh-MV Kombayn, however, you are almost there.....

A clue: This project bears the name of the designer, and he worked for a pretty prolific company. This escort fighter project had a sister project, a rather similar dive bomber.

Attaboy TC, as LM would no doubt say.

Open House, as requested.

(TC PPRuNe was down on me last night, too, so it is not your computer or your line this time…)

Evening RR,

I've managed to get a connection at home at the moment, but it's so slooow!

Let's start the ball rolling with a couple of questions.

Is this a project or did it get built and flown?

Is it a twin 'coz there's an outlne around the spinner and nacelle that at first sight, I thought was a inner engine, but I don't think it is now!

Is the gear fixed?

Taking TC's questions a bit further, would this be, after all, a STOL project with four engines and maybe some special flaps. The size of the fin and rudder would refer to slow speeds, would't it?

Project? Yes
Twin? Yes
Fixed Gear? Yes (i think)
STOL? Yes, it should be!

Clue: the manufcturer is well known for STOL machines!
