TC that's all written on the photo.

Guillermo Villasana, Michael Watter and 1934. But no success to find the picture in the web…..

Where did you find it?

Well, in fact now a 3D which may be it…...

So it is, you cunning old fox; I didn't notice it was writing until I went back and had a proper look when you said it was on the photo !! My excuse is that you'd been looking for everything that might be lurking, while I came in just after RR had said it was Mexican, so I just went looking for that tubby front end!

Good old "Fright Archive" mate! took a wildish guess at a range of years and came up with it here on the first page

jean batten | 1934 | 1024 | Flight Archive

Now I've gotta find something that you'll like

Blimey, for some reason my usual Giggling technique does seem to bring that page visible

Somehow it must have slipped out from Giggle's indexing.

Ho hum.

I'll be one to testify your hit if RR does not get his wires fixed tonight.

Thanks Reg,

I'm off home now; I've found something tasty and uploaded it to PB in case my usual dreadful connection awaits me there. I feel pretty sure I can get some connection, as I've worked out a ritual of incantations, threats and expletives that takes several minute and with luck will reward me with a staggering 200Kb that holds up for a few minutes! Don't laugh mate, it's by pathetic innit!!! Trying some new hardware this weekend from another manufacturer to see if that makes any difference.

I now copy all my new posts to the clipboard, 'coz if it drops when I press submit, I often lose it and get a blank window in the process of re-connecting, which does't help the old blood pressure or general demeanour if I've done a lot of typing or I'm trying to respond to a question!!

Catch you later

Edited to say: I'm back, and to prove it I'm here!

Now all we need is Martin, or a suitable seconder

Good morning / afternoon gentlemen.

TC's challenge looks very tempting, and it is just one of the usual "have seen the tail/fin/wing/nose/LG/what-not just-recently-somewhere"

Unfortunately for the challenge but otherwise not so, I will now be off for seaside and will be back after Easter, which here means Tuesday.

Take care gentlemen. See you!

it must be a frog, then???? based on:

Not Belgian
Not UK
Too curved to be German or Dutch
Too conventional to be Spanish
Not pretty weird enough to be Italian
Greece didn't build such things(?)

.. maybe Portuguese?

I agree with all the above statements; but it's not French or Portuguese!

Pay heed to the currency, it's not been like that for too long!
