Evening HappyPass,

It's long past when you said you'd be gone and everybody else including drawbarz seem to have quit, but your light's still on!

I think your challenge must be the VNS-41, the first amphibious microlight airplane made in Vietnam ??

That's easy Graeme, when you're logged-in, click on "User CP" in the Yellow bar at the top of the page and then select "Edit Your Details" under Your Profile on the left of the screen.

Must be the VNS-41
And we have a winner!

Frankly, I couldn't find many differences between the two, since even the powerplants are exactly the same: the english version of wiki doesn't say anything, but the vietnamese (blessed google translate...) does: 64hp Rotax-582 for both.
I've seen pictures of Che-22 with and without those strange wingtip floats, with and without engine cowlings etc.
Only differences I could spot are that Che-22 is faster and carries 2 people max, while VNS-41 is slower and can carry up to 3.

Enough banter, SincoTC has control (and I'm going to bed... boy, this thing's addictive...)

click on "User CP"
Thanks Stig. We're a country obsessed with 'big' things. The Big Banana, the Big Pineapple, Big Ned....etc....etc. Must be time for the Big Banter. Not sure how it would look though...

Got a big challenge mate?

Those Caproni's in the 300 number were prolific and were possibly even inbred.

How about the Ca 308 mate?

getting cooler with the 306, do like you just said and "think bigger" but not too much!

Home connection is not fixed yet, I'm dog/house sitting at the moment and it's pretty good here, as is the mut!

Mate, you spend a lot of time with this dog.
Where do the owners keep going?

That's the one, the Caproni Ca.309

You're right, he did seem to have a thing going about this type of machine!

Noyade has Control and I'm going to hit the hay now as I've got a five am start, good job I only need about four hours sleep innit!

Where do the owners keep going?
That's exactly what the dog keeps asking! Usually business trips, but this time a skiing holiday.

Cheers Graeme, have a good day

Guten Tag Reg,

Early start this morning, so I'm just taking an quick break before the others get in.

Is that a Tupolev Tu-104?

The tail looks like it got anhedral too, but that may just be a trick caused by the L/E sweep and the photo angle. I think some had a permanent anti-tail-scrape bumper to account for the apparent ventral fin! I can't find a photo like yours to check the flap configuration, fut the 3-views show a flap between the U/C pods and the engines.

Open House please if it is, as I'm going to be very busy today!

Guten Tag TC!

Yes, it is the Tupolev Tu-104, a picture from August 1957.
