THE SHORT ALL-METAL LIGHT FLYING BOAT

flying boat | 1924 | 0220 | Flight Archive
flying boat | 1924 | 0221 | Flight Archive

This one is for you LM I just followed up your lead.

...fork....fork...??
The pitot typical for test flight.

It was "nearing completion" in 1924, I wonder what became of it, to trace the pics in flight.....

I had found it but too late.

Might as well sign off now - see you later.

Shoot. We stalled.

Anyone interested in confirming, or shall we wait until Graeme is back?

It should go to LM, but I don't think I am qualified to confirm. And I have not found it flying, either....

I have now looked at them both carefully, and conclude that skytrain has it.

I have also located Graemes' photo image, complete with the white line running down the right side of the picture.

I am sure that Graeme would be somewhat miffed if we did not keep the thread going - he would have been expecting it since he signed off before it was identified.

Therefore we must give control to skytrain.

All yours mate.

....and if Graeme had stayed on for a minute longer we would have had a positive reponse to my post #23124.

You take it RD since I won't be around for more that an hour or so.

Unless you want an easy quickie.

Something to do with Lockheed, nothing with nuclear power.

'Artoon all,

Contrary to skytrains post #23074, this is my first time online today, due to dog duties etc, I'm just taking five to catch-up with what's been going on, while she's busy eating her afternoon meal and before another walk!

I agree with you carrying on without Graeme's confirmation and wonder if his comment that accompanied the first view of his challenge
I can't stay long...(erectile dysfunction)....
was an indirect hint at a Short Cockle, or maybe that's just my dirty mind

Oh well, love to play, but gotta go now, catchya later

I don't think it's your mind mate - I think that's exactly what he meant.
