It's a ringer for the Viggen, but something doesn't match.

Expanding the MiG-19 theory, how about the Nanchang A-5M Fantan.

Morning Ken.

I'm not convinced that the 19 had centreline store pylons, but the rest of the weapon/tank configuration looks right.

Then there's the problem with the fuselage cross-section.

Oh OK mate.

Then again, the Fantan had three weapons pylons beneath each wing.

Found a photo of a Q-5 Fantan with no pylons fitted! Trouble it there were so many adaptions....I'm sticking to the Fantan, either a Q5 or A5 variant.

I think you're right.

The Q-5 original had two hardpoints on each wing, but the improved Q-5 IA model had three.

I can't do much else but wait for Graeme.

Also found this in it's specs - "tailplane has 6º 30' anhedral".

Was this a piece of itinerary report from you or a piece of advice to us Graeme?

So much for disguising that then! Good call LM, it does indeed have a negative stagger

That's only a small part of the problem solved!

Just a couple of little things such as cabin, cantilever, and tricycle!

Morning Happypass.

I've looked at the Durand.

Did Griffon plan to do a follow-up to Lionheart with trike and in-line engine?

Has this flown?

Good question RD - I was about to ask the same.

I also think it may be filed under experimental homebuilt.

. Not a Durand Happy Pass and there's a good reason you can't see any struts...there aren't any

No idea mate, but there is no connection with the Lionheart.

Has this flown?
Yep.

Not classified as such in Janes nor in web references that I have seen.
