Yes, I'm getting confused over numbers too, I just found the identical photo, but it's labelled the BOK-11, flipped of course! I didn't look at it before because one of the sites I found that listed all the BOK series, said that it had retractable gear
Just digging a little more, my site says that reports of the "BOK-15" really refer to the BOK-11 and that if developed it would have been a very good Strategic Reconnaissance aircraft. LM's light is out, so OH if he has it as the 11.
I'm long past the time I said that I had to go, so I'll say goodnight and good luck!

Could it be that the gear in the pic is somehow temporary, and the blob above it is the visible part of the retractable main gear, like in the Tupolev RD from which it was allegedly developed?

Well having read a little more I'm sticking with the BOK-15. The BOK-11 is desribed as a 3 seat high altitude recc aircraft. To me that doesn't tally with having 2 cockpits?
This is the only image of the BOK-15 I have found....

Evening Ken.
It is confusing. I would accept BOK-11 or BOK-15.
My source gave the 11 as a two-seater.
In lieu of the posts I think you have come up with the most probable answer, so it's all yours.

Thanks LM. Certainly seems confusing ,and the more I look the more I begin to wonder whether it was the BOK-7 after all!
Apologies for the delay posting, but as some of you may have noticed, PPrune was down this evening, so this is the first time I have managed to gain access. Anyway, better late than never:

Good morning Ken
Is this a yank?
Actually maybe not. The hangar behind (I think that is what it is?) looks more european. Would this machine be seen with Czech markings?

Good enough LM...I would have accepted either Banhidi-Lampich or Müegyetemi Sportrepülö Egyesület!
Just two of these Hungarian biplanes built in 1932:
All yours David.
