Oh well; suitably replete and nothing burnt! Now where to start with this one!

Looks like a rotary donk, wassa make and hp? 1910-15? One or two seats? Run of the mill country or unusual?

Just hazarding a guess off the top of my head here here but it looks somewhat like an Avro 504?

Yes
One
Unusual aeroplane but "run of the mill" the country CERTAINLY IS NOT.

Welcome matt777.

Not a 504 - please re-check the skids and tail surfaces.

Easy then: British

1913 De Havilland BS1 biplane, or maybe better said Royal Aircraft Factory BS1, designed and built by Geoffrey de Havilland.

See you in the morning. Night.

I'm confused RegDep - I thought DeHavilland aircraft didnt exist until late into WW1 when he left Airco?

Anyway, whilst I'm here, I appreciate that I'll probably never get one of these right but can I be cheeky and pop in something quite interesting?

I found this recently in a book of declassified reports Happy guessing!

Good call Reg,

Nice one LM, Double-bluffed or what!!

After getting your Vendome yesterday, you said

Since you were not on thread I thought I would use one from there.

I knew you would pitch up at some point!
Several recent challenges had come from the Regheath site and snapped-up fairly quickly, after which, you said "it looks like it's back to the Aerodrome then!

So when you said with this one

This is not from our flavour of the month site:
Muggins here didn't even take a look at Regheath, where I would have found it in about a minute starting at 1913

My own By fault though, I should have said, "so it's not on Regheath then"

Welcome to the thread triple seven, LM will give you a suitable induction

Gonna be a busy day again today and out tonight, be in when I can, seeya

Good morning 777.

May I ask you to go to the "What Cockpit & What Aerodrome" sticky, where the Silhouette Challenge rules of engagement are posted.

Only the winner of a challenge may post a new one. Therefore I am sorry to say that yours is invalid.

However, new blood on the thread is always very welcome, so do participate. It's fun and sometimes somebody will post a challenge which is brain scrambling.

The winner of my last challenge is RegDep.

RegDep now has control of the thread.

Thanks LM and sorry for my slow

Here's my next. Silhouette, but because of my medieval techniques not filled with black .

777, I am not sure if you read my edit, but my last was according my source in web called De Havilland, but actually designed and built by Geoffrey De Havilland while he was at FAF. As to your interesting posting and for the future, is your proposed challenge pictured in the web somewhere?

Reg

Edit: PS to TC: My "namesake" site was one of the first ones I bookmarked at my early career at SC, and I have always wondered how easily I could repeatedly find winning responses there.... , as if only LM and me knew the site .

Edit 2: PPS, will be in and out today, try to check once in a while. Please bear with me (not seeing too many crowding on the thread at the moment, either.... ).

Hi David. How are things?
Well mate thanks - looking forward to two weeks off from Monday. I have only taken five days leave in the last nine months!

Not much point in hanging around here though at the moment is there..............

Can't leave the country until at least a year has elapsed since my last operation, so we are touring the South West, where I was born.

Going for upmarket accommodation and gourmet food. Looking to see what mpg the Mercedes will give on long distance driving, but I'm not holding out for a lot.

Staying one night in Minehead........................
