Non Monsieur
A subtle clue...as in French origin, or are you just demonstrating your language skills?

As the answer is "non" to your language skills, would it be the Schmitt type 7?

Been through the Wiki list of aircraft powered by the Anzani 10.....nothing there but thats hardly surprising! Why do I have this horrible feeling this is from Breguets (the challenge as opposed to the manufacturer).

brevet civil de l'Aéro-club de France

Try a year and you will find it instantly.

Failing that, try adding a number between 700 and 800 after it.

Guess I must be missing something somewhere....the suggested search got me on to a website that looked hopeful, but none of the years generated an aircraft that matched the challenge. Now going through Breguet's....yuk!

My wife failed to buy salad cream for our son!

I'm back!

'Tiz the 1914 Sallard Biplane

Edited to say it was also "known" as the "Avion autostable Sallard".

Last edited by SincoTC; 20th Feb 2011 at 18:04. Reason: Edited to add a tie-in to LM's last clue
