Sorry, it is not from PZL. I thought the composite material on the console would be a big clue. It flew, it doesn't fly anymore. It was powered by a J-85 engine.

Simon (India Four Two) is correct Yes, it is the Marganski & Myslowski EM-10 Bielik (white tail eagle). Similar to the ATG Javelin in profile. Your turn.

PZL SZD 45A OGAR? Side by side motor glider with pusher engine config based on standard PZL glider bits?

If correct OH.

I knew a glider pilot would get it

The Ogar (Greyhound)

I test flew one of these many years ago. Quite nice performance and a very glider-like view thanks to the pusher prop. The drawback to the pusher configuration was the incredible noise, presumably due to the close proximity of the prop tips to the tail boom. It sounded like a Cessna Skymaster.

One feature I had forgotten about, which shows up in the cockpit photo, is that the rudder pedals, stick and seat on the right side, were set back a little to allow for a narrower cockpit without rubbing shoulders.

As '866 said, Open House.

Only the engine instruments are different. Of course, there is an other engine installed to a standard aircraft.

Seems to be not an easy one. It was produced in the US an over 10.000 were built.

You are correct. It`s a Piper PA 18 Super Cub but with an Volkswagen Turbodiesel engine with special gearbox and prop.

Doesn`t look as if it`s from UK,USA,or Russia, soo, how about Italian or French? Is it an old picture or recent,as it seems to be parked behind a twin-tailed aircraft..?

Hey there sycamore, we waited over 72 hours for your reply. After correctly identifying the PA-18 mod cockpit, you were either to post a new challenge, or declare an open house.

This aircraft is neither French nor Italian. As to the date of the photograph I have no idea.
