I like that the simple flying article says that they will:
competing with carriers such as British Airways and Virgin Atlantic
No mention of American, Delta, United on the direct route then? Of course, if they are referring only to LGW, then they do not have VS. More accuracy in the reporting would be nice. But then, for as long as this lasts, it does brighten my day.

Oxymoron?

Accuracy in reporting, an oxymoron if ever there was one.

Not as far as I can see - float, then either a pump & dump or even better the creation of a zombie company that pays the BoD £ 200k a man a year for eternity - that's AIM for you

same article reports a slight (!) change of plans from the previous announcements....
"Global Airlines initially planned to have one A380 in service by the spring of this year, but its goal has been pushed back to later this year with charter flights. “Our intention is to commence with charter flights later in 2024 with scheduled services from the UK following that,” a spokesperson said to The Telegraph. The airline is also considering operating charter services for major events, such as the FIFA World Cup that will be held in Miami in 2026."

2026? So soon? At least they won't face any competition on that route ...

Read a comment today that it’s going to turn out like the fyre festival and Netflix will make a documentary about it. Most reasonable idea so far tbh

"I mention this stuff, because they are the easy part of what those in the business call the airline “soft product” bits. These are things like pillows, which can easily be added and removed at will.
The hard part is the safety and licensing from aviation governing bodies, the long lead time in procurement of seats, seat back TV screens and other factors."

Says pretty much what everyone here has been saying but to write what he does later you are either poor, mad or have solid evidence AND a good lawyer

Its worth a read

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck then it’s a duck.

Based on what is already in the public domain, could it not be argued that this is an honestly held opinion?

Given that the company is raising money from the public to fund this enterprise and also that this is a regulated industry, could there not also be a public interest defence.

I don’t think that Global would want to have that debate inside a Courtroom.

To be very clear, this is not a public offering, this is private placings to members of the public. A small sample is attached.

The new shareholders pay a large premium for their shares. This means that they pay a much higher price for their shares compared with Asquith based on the value of the Global Airlines brand and business plan. I do not believe that these actually have any value.

That article was refreshing. Certainly nothing new stated but good to see in other places as well as here. For my part, I hope that they struggle on for another year, they are so much fun.

If only they would plan to operate from Manston ... we'd have the perfect comedy on here

Berkeley Club Ltd, is a dormant UK company, almost been struck off twice seeing it is not doing anything. Bhaven Pathak is the sole director of the company, he has another company listed, it looks dormant as well.

Anva Globa Ltd, Arjun Mital... this seems to be listed in the Seychelles. Arjun is not listed on any company in the UK at present.

Michael and Christine Lowe Family trust, seems to be in Santa Monica California, something to do with property as far as I can tell.

The rest, well not much to go on really.

Out of interest which website did you get this info from?

Thanks
