Last year I think they were released about now. I just hope that all of the no-deal Brexit controversy hasn't led to EZY getting cold feet on further expansion in the UK. They have announced a couple of new routes from LGW and BRS so hopefully we will see more. Fingers crossed.

The bulk were released last week, although there has been a rumour there will be a MAN announcement (but we expected that last year and it never arrived).

There may also be some planning issues. Presumably if a no deal Brexit, all UK routes operated by UK registered aircraft and all intra European ones operated by OE registered ones. That might reduce flexibility somewhat.

Adding a Dub flight makes zero sense because FR will just drop fares to kill it plus also target a route where U2 has a high market share and drop fares as well. There is zero commercial logic for U2 to open a LGW_Dub route.

Think we already established it was LGW_DUS that was in the systerm.
Adding a Dub flight makes zero sense because FR will just drop fares to kill it plus also target a route where U2 has a high market share and drop fares as well. There is zero commercial logic for U2 to open a LGW_Dub route.

Oh don’t be so pessimistic. Another poster is convinced they applied for slots for DUS & DUB. There is definitely room for another airline on DUB-LON, FR & IAG can’t have it all (I’m not including BE to SEN!) Personally think FR are better than that now, they’re not going to ad flights to LGW. I’m far from convinced they’ll start it but the market is there.
Adding in a service that will get a response, that opens up to pricing challenges on other routes, which will cost profit is just not a sensible way of doing business. Question asked is what does it add to Easyjet, aside from lots of additional management time I see no benefit.

easyJet A320s
There was an article in the Bristol press yesterday that reporting one of the BRS-GVA flights was overbooked leading to a woman being taken off the flight. easyJet said the reason was that the aircraft was scheduled to be a 186-seater A320 but it had been replaced by a 180-seater A320 with 181 passengers booked to fly.
How many of the airline's A320s are still 180-seaters? I thought that the new ones had 186 seats and the older ones had all been converted to that number. It would seem not.

There's currently no requirement for anything to change post 31st March. All G- reg can stay in EZYs EU bases and vice-versa with the Austrian reg aircraft. If easyJet choose to only have G- reg aircraft based in the UK that's their choice and probably been part of a "just incase" plan.

Why does the G- Aircraft not have the National flag on like the other registrations ? Seems like that flag offends our own people these days we should be proud to be british regardless of political decisions.
