Adding a Dub flight makes zero sense because FR will just drop fares to kill it plus also target a route where U2 has a high market share and drop fares as well. There is zero commercial logic for U2 to open a LGW_Dub route.
Oh don’t be so pessimistic. Another poster is convinced they applied for slots for DUS & DUB. There is definitely room for another airline on DUB-LON, FR & IAG can’t have it all (I’m not including BE to SEN!) Personally think FR are better than that now, they’re not going to ad flights to LGW. I’m far from convinced they’ll start it but the market is there.
