There's currently no requirement for anything to change post 31st March. All G- reg can stay in EZYs EU bases and vice-versa with the Austrian reg aircraft. If easyJet choose to only have G- reg aircraft based in the UK that's their choice and probably been part of a "just incase" plan.
Current proposals from the Commission are that in the event of a "no deal" Brexit, UK airlines would have 7 months to sort out their ownership structures, after which I would expect UK registered a/c would be able to operate UK-EU, but not intra-EU flights.
