Is that down from 773 or up from 332 for EY?

Does that include F class?

I think the 2 class 777 holds over 400 and the A330 about 260.

Can't see any effect or benefit for MAN. MUC would do well out of it maybe.

According to Loadstar magazine, the air bridge cargo base will be operational by mid November using a B747-400F until the B747-8F arrives.

To bring it forward from April must mean they have just won a decent contract?!

EY A346 - and QR too!

EY looks like the A346 is for the first three weeks of Nov.

They have F class, yes, but are a reduction of 20% in J and nearly 30% Y capacity.

Then there's a mixture of 332 and 77W all through winter - but majority of flights remain 77W.

Qatar also seem to be scheduling a lot of 777s over the next few weeks...is this normal?

I though they usually scheduled 332s ops, boosting to 333s in the busier seasons/periods. A long run of scheduled 777 ops is a good sign?

QR temporary upgrade to 77W (and 77L some days I think?) is due to A330 maintenance across the network.

Not sure what the EY upgrade is for.

The EY A346 is from the 2nd-30th Nov at this time, but, I. Hearing we have been swapped with CDG.

We get their A346, they get our B77W for the winter. They are certain,y down for 2 daily B77W all winter anyway.

EY is down to leases expiring and aircraft delivery issues, they have dropped/increased capacity across the network as well as delay route launches and increase/decrease capacity on various routes.

The A340 will bring some variety!

Yes, the 3 class A346 has 292 seats, the 2 class B777 has 412 and the A332 has 254 or 262 seats according to seat guru.

Not sure what determines when QR use the A333, whether it's just availability of a/c or higher advance bookings for certain flights.

Not 100% sure why either - but QR almost always seem to load the 332 as default for all services, year round, and then substitute up to the 333 for periods of (what I assume are) high demand.

Nice one Bagso.

I imagine this is quite a step up for Mr Jupp as he will report directly to Ken O'Toole.

Anyway, good wishes to him and let's hope he can alleviate some of your well expressed concerns.

Bagso,

Well amazeballs it looks like GO is heading home with no prospect of a new Chinese route BUT lots OF promise re new houses, lots of them !

Still with 28bn of investment still sloshing about there are still reasons to be cheerful.

Although on a somewhat sour note I can't help but think that the balance of that 27.9bn is all HS2 !

Has anybody actually seen the 28bn ..wait for it "Pitchbook"

Did anyone seriously expect that he would? In the scheme of things, and in voter's minds, housing falls way up the list of priorities, and these junkets are as much a political exercise as a business one.

His "Northern Powerhouse" is as likely to get positive government support the comparable "Midlands Powerhouse" that the local authorities around the West Midlands is.

We're on our own outside of the "favoured Southeast" - in fact, not even the whole southeast, as I'm sure people living in areas of Kent and Essex may well agree.

Just because there's been no announcement doesn't mean that nothing is happening.

And IF something is happening, wouldn't it be better to save an announcement until the Chinese Premier visits shortly?
