It can't be MAN, MOL would have more self respect than that to go crawling back after all he's said and done. He was quite adamant there would be no further expansion in the UK and no going back to MAN
As for a base, MOL himself is sat at a MAN airport hotel in preperation for tomorrows announcent, so, it looks 98% certain he has gone back on his words.
As for lying, its wasnt long since he said this:
O'Leary in Leeds Bradford Airport vow : Yorkshire : Insider News : Insider Media Ltd
So, Id take what he says at face value to be honest.

Yeah I've got to say, since the reduction to one flight from MAN and his spat, flights from MAN have grown by quite a number, so obviously an agreement has been in the works for some time. Now is the time to formalise the growth at MAN and I wish FR luck with it.

So Justice Peter Kelly was right, Michael O'Leary is indeed a liar......
The man obviously can't be trusted....

But he is not lying about the MAN base.

Spain has extended the waiver of fees at Canary Islands airports. Good news as this paid a major contribution to FR's presence here. See article : Canary Airport Tax Waiver Continues into 2012 | Canaries News

ASFKAP,
Is it not a little naive to conclude that considerations of dignity or previous unsuccessful negotiations would prohibit MOL going into MAN if he felt there was money to be made today?
If all business was done with pride and ego front-and-centre, much less woudl get done in the world than is the case today.
Wally.

Irish judge bows to Ryanair bluster....
A very disappointing conclusion. The judge said "I am not biassed against Ryanair but I will step down anyway just to keep the show on the road...."
So who exactly, I ask, will stand up to M O´L and to Ryanair if this judge will not ?
The judge threatened Ryanair that he would have their guts for garters if they tried to put a spin on his decision. How pathetic. There is no need to put a spin on his decision. He has already spun himself into his own legal tomb.
¿ The worst of all worlds for Irish/ European justice ?
¡ The best of all worlds for Ryanair; the Low Class Carrier !

Well it was only in January that MOL announced he wanted to base at MAN in local media.
Ryanair hopes to land 5 MILLION extra passengers at Manchester Airport | Manchester Evening News - menmedia.co.uk
So it makes sense.

Ryanair Live Flight Info - Changes
All delayed ryanair flights will have the eta posted and once the aircraft lands they will post the exact arrival time. It helps and the eta is not always correct.
eg:
07:45 FR 7128 Dublin - Fuerteventura 11:55 DELAY
landed at 12:24
